Choosing to stay at the Osteria Manciana in Scudellate is a true plunge into tradition. The authenticity of the place and the atmosphere of well-being are confirmed by the hospitality offered by the Piffaretti family, which has been running this Osteria for almost 100 years, appreciated for its gastronomic offerings inspired by Grandmother Agnese's recipes. The building has recently been renovated, and the first floor now houses three spacious rooms overlooking the splendid panorama of the Valle di Muggio. The experiences in nature and in the Monte Generoso, area will make your stay at the Manciana unforgettable.

The Scudellate Hostel is located a few steps from the Osteria Manciana and has been completely renovated with the aim of welcoming groups, families, couples, and others for stays or events. The building, dating back to 1909, was originally built to house the village kindergarten and primary school, which were decommissioned in 1965. Those who look out from the stone balcony on the ground floor or from the large terrace on the first floor of the hostel, where the rooms are located, will be amazed by the breath-taking view, and turning their gaze towards the plain, which is only perceptible, will appreciate the lush nature of the valley.

The large house, built in 1890, is located on the eastern edge of the small village of Scudellate. The brothers Gabriele and Antonio Cereghetti built it with their own hands for their families, using stones from Monte Generoso and dedicating winters to the project, when mountain farming activities were reduced. The Zanini family, who took over the property from their direct descendants (4th generation), has entirely renovated it with great respect for the history of the place. The recent transformation has made it possible to create six large, bright and very cosy rooms overlooking the large garden that invites one to contemplate the place and nature, while also allowing one to enjoy the splendid panorama of the Muggio Valley.

The Alpe di Caviano, owned by the Patriziato of Castel San Pietro, is an oasis of tranquillity and can be reached on foot from Castel San Pietro or by descending the hiking trail that twists and turns from the Bellavista on Monte Generoso.

Cà Nani Small Boutique Hotel occupies an old agricultural property, the origins of which date back to the 1600s. The current building, erected in the early 1900s over the original structure, was one of the first in the town. In fact, together with the church, it formed the first nucleus of the picturesque village of Casima, some 600 m a.s.l. at the foot of Monte Generoso.
